Gahan House

You'll feel right at home

Spanning six locations across Atlantic Canada, Gahan House has established itself as an iconic destination, cherished for crafting unforgettable experiences. Named after John Gahan, a notable merchant and importer of wines, teas, and groceries in the 19th century on Prince Edward Island, the chain traces its origins back to his historical residence, which became the site of the original Gahan House in Charlottetown, P.E. In an effort to bring their award-winning ales to a broader audience, Gahan House expanded, opening establishments in Halifax, N.S., Fredericton, Saint John, and Moncton, N.B., along with St. John’s, N.L.Beginning its journey as a brewpub, Gahan House stays true to its roots by incorporating an in-house brewing system, guaranteeing the freshest beer possible. Known for their delicious menu, handcrafted ales, and fresh East Coast oysters, each location provides a welcoming atmosphere that embodies the spirit of Gahan. They aim to make every guest feel like part of their extended family, enhancing the dining experience with a sense of warmth and community.
